KOCAELİ - The family of a prisoner who took his life in Kandira F Type Prison No. 2 was not given his remains. According to the information obtained, the authorities told the family to leave and that they will bring Kılıç's remains to Elazığ.
Irfan Kılıç ended his life in Kandira F Type Prison No. 2. His remains was not being delivered to his family. Authorities told the family, "You go back, we will bring the body to Elazığ."
The prisoner had ended his life on Wednesday in Kandira No. 2 F Type Prison in Kocaeli, and his body was taken to Kocaeli Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.
Kılıç' family came to the ATK in the evening. Yet after the autopsy the family was told that they would not get the remains of Kılıç. Instead they were told to go to Elazig and wait there.
The family is now waiting at Elazığ Airport to receive the remains of their relative and travel to Solhan, in the province of Bingöl to finally bury their son
