Beaten citizen taken to hospital from police headquarters

DİYARBAKIR - Fırat Akdeniz who was taken under custody wounded from the harsh attack of the police in the trustee protests in Diyarbakır, was taken to the hospital after a day, when he took a turn for the worse.

Following the dismissal of the co-chairs of the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality and the appointment of a trustee, 30 people were detained in Diyarbakır yesterday after being subjected to police violence. Fırat Akdeniz who was beaten by more than one riot police, was taken to Anti Terror Unit after being taken into custody. Akdeniz who was taken under custody yesterday, have taken a turn for the worst and was taken to hospital today.
